Hi, I’m Amy, a science communicator and filmmaker working with organisations and changemakers from around the world to tell stories that drive meaningful change.
I use storytelling and strategic communication to drive positive environmental and social impact, helping turn complex knowledge into meaningful change. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with international changemakers, including world-leading researchers and inspiring community leaders, helping them to share their work and science with the world.
My background combines environmental science with science communication, engagement and outreach. A BSc in Environmental Management and Sustainability gave me a strong understanding of the complexity of environmental challenges and conservation efforts, as well as the ability to interpret scientific research. I believe that knowledge about the environmental challenges shaping our world and what we can do about them should be accessible to everyone. I therefore completed an MSc in Science Communication, where I developed the skills to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and evidence-based communication for diverse audiences through written, audio-visual, and in-person formats.
At the heart of my work is a deep love for the natural world and a belief that when people understand and connect with nature, real change becomes possible.
